2012 Cub Scout Day Camp    

The 2012 Cub Scout Day Camp adventure awaits you!   

Day Camp is an excellent one day opportunity for Cub Scouts to enjoy many different activities in a fun, safe environment.  Scouts will participate in activities like archery, shooting BB guns, games and crafts.

  • Pawnee                                                       June 9 at Scout 40, O'Neill, NE
  • Covered Wagon                                        September 29, Kearny 

How to Register:

  1. Complete online registration process  
  2. Complete Tour Permit
  3. Complete Sections A and B of the Annual BSA Health and Medical Record for all Scouts and Adults attending.   

What to bring/not to bring:

  • Annual BSA Health and Medical Record for each Scout and Adult attending
  • BSA Tour Plan (submit to council office for approval prior to the event and bring the signed copy with you) - One per pack
  • Wear appropriate cub scouting/theme-related clothing (rain gear if needed) - Scout uniform not required, but encouraged for flag ceremonies
  • Sack Lunch
  • Shoes or sneakers with socks must be worm. No open-toed shoes
  • Bring a water bottle, bug spray, and sun block
  • Medication, if any, in original container
  • Park Sticker (Covered Wagon District, September 24th, Only) - Will be sold on site if you do not have one when you arrive

Weather Policy

Every effort will be made to be consistent with BSA national guidelines to offer a full outdoor program at each day camp. However, a special “Rainy Day” program has been arranged in event of bad weather. We will ‘Charge-On!!!’, come rain or shine. Be Prepared! Under extreme weather conditions, camp may be closed.

Health and Safety

A Health Officer will be on site at all day camps. An Annual Health Review Form with Sections A & B completed is required for EVERYONE!  BSA requires that all medication be in their original containers and checked-in and remain with the Health Officer during camp. Please include detailed instructions as to the time and dosage that your child will need. (Allergy kits and inhalers will be checked-in and returned to the Scout and remain in his possession.). Tour Plans

Each Pack needs to complete a Tour Plan. Please send your tour plan in with your registration or submit after you register online. The approved tour plan needs to be turned in at the time of check-in and will be returned at the end of the event. You can download a copy of the Tour Plan here: BSA Tour Plan

The BSA requires a minimum of 2-adult for every 5-boys with a minimum of two adults per Pack. Tigers require a one-to-one supervision. One leader must be at least 21 years of age and all other leaders at least 18 years of age.
