Steps to Becoming an Arrowman

  1. Be elected by fellow Scouts at an Unit Election in the spring. (Adults are nominated by the Unit Committee and approved by the Lodge administration.)
  2. Elected/nominated candidates attend Summer Camp to be called out at a public ceremony.
  3. After being called out, the candidate participates in an Ordeal either at the Summer Fellowship or at the following Spring Fellowship. If a candidate does not go through the Ordeal at either of these two Fellowships, he must be re-elected/re-nominated.
  4. At least 10 months after becoming and Ordeal member, the new Arrowman is eligible to seal his membership in the Order by participating in the Brotherhood ceremony, held at either the Summer Fellowship or Spring Fellowship.
