District Award of Merit
The Overland Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America, authorizes the following award to recognize the accomplishment of dedicated Scouters:
Silver Beaver Award
Adult leaders recognition is intended to recognize an individual for distinguished service to the Scouting program over a period of several years and/or to recognize an individual for unusually significant achievement in one or more ladership postions.
If you would like to nominate a volunteer leader for the District Award of Merit or Silver Beaver Award please complete the appropriate forms by clicking on the award, complete the form and return it to the Service Center by December 15th.

General Guidelines for the Shield of Service and Key Leader Award.
Shield of Service is available to recognize one Scouter from every unit for outstanding contribution to that unit.
Key Leader Award is available to recognize a Scouter that goes above and beyond in their commitment to Scouting.
The Shield of Service and Key Leader Award will be awarded annually. Please download the nomination forms above to nominate a deserving Scouter. The deadline for these two awards will be April 8, 2010. Awards will be given out at the May Roundtable.
