Our goal is to serve more youth with stronger Scouting programs and activities. The focus of our fundraising effort is service to our youth, their families, and our volunteers. Nearly 4,000 youth, their parents & families, and more than 500 registered adult volunteers will directly and indirectly benefit from the dollars raised for Scouting in the Overland Trails Council.
Funding for Scouting comes from a variety of sources in including: product sales, activity and camp fees, special events, United Way and income from the council endowment fund. However, these sources fall short of providing the funding necessary to deliver the programs and services now offered to Scouts and leaders.
We would love the opportunity to sit down with you as well to explore how you can maximize your support of Scouting and discuss options that best meet your needs.
